The Bilbao Final Masters took place 7th to 12th October 2013 Favourite Levon Aronian's wins in Round 4 against Maxime Vachier-Lagrave and Round 5 against Michael Adams, both with black proved enough to give him victory with 4/6 undefeated. Michael Adams too won twice but his defeat to Aronian left him in second place on 3.5/6. Shakhriyar Mamedyarov finished on 2.5/6 and Maxime Vachier-Lagrave finished last on 2/6 and was involved in all but one of the five decisive games. Games and results.
